Garmin watch apps and data fields
Our Connect IQ apps and data fields, including ClimbPower, run entirely on your watch.
- They read sensor and profile data that the watch already holds, such as barometric altitude, heart rate, position and the body weight in your Garmin profile, and use it only to show numbers on the screen during an activity.
- Anything they record goes into the activity file on your watch, in the same way as any other Garmin activity. That file syncs through your own Garmin Connect account under Garmin's privacy policy. We never see it.
- They have no internet access, no account, no analytics and no advertising. Settings you change in the Garmin Connect app stay on your phone and watch.

Phone apps
Our Google Play apps are wrappers around our own web apps. Each one's privacy policy is linked from its Play Store listing and from the web app itself. None of them contain advertising or third-party analytics trackers.
This website
- If you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we store the name, email address, phone number and message you entered so that we can reply. We keep it for as long as the conversation is live and delete it on request.
- We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on baselinetech.ie. The site sets no cookies of its own.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers. Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email hello@baselinetech.ie and we will deal with it promptly. You can also complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland.
